Privacy notice

This notice explains how FIG handles personal and health information when you use usefig.com, the FIG patient portal or apps, or communicate with the FIG care team.

Information

Information FIG handles

FIG may handle contact and account details, assessment and health information, identity and Medicare or IHI details, consultation and prescription records, order and payment status, support communications, and security audit records. Payment card details are handled by FIG's payment provider rather than stored as raw card details by FIG.

Purpose

How information is used

FIG uses information to assess eligibility, provide and administer care, secure accounts, fulfil orders, process payments, communicate service updates, meet legal obligations, and improve the service. Information is disclosed only where needed to authorised practitioners, pharmacy and prescribing partners, service providers, or regulators. Access is limited by role and recorded in FIG's audit systems.

Communications

Email, SMS, and analytics

FIG uses Amazon SES for transactional account and service email, Twilio for verification and operational SMS, and approved providers for non-clinical lifecycle communications. Clinical details are not placed in ordinary email or SMS bodies. You can withdraw marketing consent without losing essential account, security, billing, or care notifications.

Your choices

Access, correction, and contact

You may request access to or correction of your information through the secure patient portal. Deletion requests remain subject to clinical, prescribing, tax, fraud-prevention, and other legal retention requirements. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@usefig.com.

Manage your data

Australian data charter

How FIG protects patient data

FIG's Australian data charter is to collect only what is needed to provide and operate the service, protect information with role-based access and audit records, keep health information separate from marketing systems, and give patients clear ways to access or correct their information. FIG does not sell patient information. Australian records are handled in line with applicable Australian privacy and health-record obligations.
